EDOS Foundation was founded in 2011 by:
Jo Peeters (1953), chairman of EDOS Foundation, has extensive experience in providing workshops and training courses for voluntary organisations. He studied Social Work and participated in university courses, corporate training courses and consultancy work.
Since 2002 Jo has performed workshops and projects in the field of recognition of competences of volunteers. These workshops and projects take place at local, provincial, national, and European level. His extensive experience in this area is complemented by participation in training courses on Youth Pass Assessment of non-formal learning, European Youth Work and Project Management of International Projects.
Guus Bremer (1963), secretary of EDOS Foundation, has a background in community work, youth work and voluntary work. He studied Social Work and broadened this with an university course on counselling, a training course for trainers and a NLP Practitioners course. Experienced in training courses for youth workers and volunteers he started with courses on competences and personal development in 2004.
Guus discovered and elaborated the European dimension of adult education during training courses on Youth and Democracy, Management of European Projects and non-formal learning.
Ard van der Borg (1973), treasurer of EDOS Foundation, studied accounting and takes care of the financial part of our work.
